SoBe burger

SoBe Burger is the 3rd fastest growing burger brand in the UK (2024), inspired by Miami's vibrant burger culture. The brand has grown rapidly from a brewery pop-up to a nationwide franchise concept.

Today, the brand operates across 200+ delivery locations and multiple physical locations, serving millions of burgers annually, whilst expanding through its partnership with marketing agency, Sessions.

The Brief

The key objectives for this project were to increase brand awareness, establish a strong visual identity and to reinforce SoBe Burger's authority as a growing food brand.

As it grew, the website needed to clearly communicate it's growth whilst helping customers quickly and efficiently find where they could order and visit. It also needed to clearly direct potential franchisees to the relevant location where they could enquire.

The challenge

SoBe Burger’s rapid growth had outpaced it's digital presence. When they approached us, they were about to open it's first physical locations and several new delivery locations. So, they needed a website that could clearly communicate it's bold, strong identity and well as the franchising opportunity.

The challenge was to create a platform that balanced it's playful energy, with operational clarity. It also needed to appeal to multiple audiences: customers discovering the brand, delivery customers looking to order and potential franchisees and kitchen partners.

The approach

The site architecture prioritised a clear customer journey, directing visitors towards either ordering or enquiring about franchising opportunities, whilst reinforrcing the brand identity. The brand was felt through a strong typographic hierarchy and prominent imagery.

To create a contrast and avoid the black-and-white palette feeling potentially repetitive online, a complementary colour was introduced across the site, adding energy and visual rhythm, whilst maintaining consistency with the existing brand.

The Results

Following launch, the website has established itself as a discovery point for the brand, creating opportunities for expansion and widening it’s audience.

Since launch the site recorded 21,000 visits and 18,000 unique visitors, generating 41,000 pageviews as it’s users explored the menu, brand story, and ordering options.

Traffic continues to grow steadily, with 5–6% month-on-month increases across visits, pageviews, and unique users, demonstrating increasing brand awareness and online discovery.
